Westfields Hospital & Clinic Named a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital
Westfields Hospital & Clinic has been named one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the United States for the fourth time in the past five years. Westfields was one of only six Wisconsin hospitals to receive this recognition from iVantage Health Analytics and The Chartis Center for Rural Health. The recognition is based on quality, outcomes, patient perspective, finance measures and other factors as measured by the iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength INDEX®.
“The Hospital Strength INDEX provides a true benchmark for helping rural providers to better understand performance levels and identify areas of improvement,” said Michael Topchik, National Leader of The Chartis Center for Rural Health. “When we look across the spectrum of rural-relevant INDEX indicators, the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals are establishing a new standard for how to deliver higher quality care to their communities despite an unpredictable healthcare environment,”
Steve Massey, Westfields Hospital & Clinic President and CEO, says, “To receive this achievement once is very gratifying but to receive it year-after-year validates our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible health care to our community.”
Massey says that more people looked to Westfields to help them improve their health and well-being in 2017 than ever before. “I’m so proud of our colleagues’ devotion to provide quality and compassionate care.”
