Dr. Dieterle received his medical degree from Midwestern University, Downers Grove, IL. He completed his internship and orthopedic residency at Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital (Detroit), Vanderbilt University Hospital (Nashville), and Cincinnati Children's Hospital. He completed an orthopedic sports medicine and shoulder fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI.

Dr. Dieterle is a general orthopedist with a special interest in shoulder and sports medicine. He is certified in reverse total shoulder arthroplasty and autologous chondrocite implantation.

He is board eligible for certification by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
