St Croix Valley Community Education Coordinator - .8 FTE
Main responsibilities: Provide community outreach, engagement and linkage to service lines, and regional based health education, to the communities currently served by Hudson Hospital and Clinics (Wisconsin); Lakeview Health (Stillwater, MN); and Westfields Hospitals (New Richmond, WI). Primary duties will be to provide and manage health education programs/classes that help individuals and families maximize and maintain healthy lifestyle; collect and analyze data to identify community education needs; work closely with marketing departments to develop classes that enhance public awareness of the programs and services our health systems provide; collaborate and assist community outreach programs, businesses and organizations to plan, schedule, implement, monitor and evaluate community education classes.
Qualifications include: Associate’s Degree with emphasis in community and/or health education, community relations, or nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years in health care with demonstrated knowledge in planning and coordination of education classes or the equivalent experience; the ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize, build relationships and direct people; the ability to work independently, yet also work positively as a member of a collaborative team; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; group facilitation, presentation and organizational experience. Accountant II – 1.0 FTE
Hours: Monday - Friday – 8:00am – 4:30pm
Main responsibilities: Reviews accounting transactions, assists in monthly financial closing, prepares account reconciliations, and maintains records of financial activity. Maintains ledger, journals and other financial control records by classifying and recording transactions in accordance with established financial practices. Maintains accounting records and prepares monthly financial statements. Reconciles accounts. Processes payroll and revenue interfaces to the ledger.
Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field required. At least two years’ experience as an Accountant required. Lawson software and accrual based accounting knowledge and experience highly desirable.
Registration Clerk - Health Station -Casual FTE
Hours:: Health Station hours are 8:45am – 7:00pm; Saturday 8:45am – 5:00pm; Sunday 10:45am – 5:00pm
Main responsibilities: Schedule and register patients and verify patient insurance. Answer telephone and provide clerical duties. Collect patient payments.
Qualifications include: High school diploma and customer service experience required. Computer experience required. One year experience in a hospital or medical facility preferred. Insurance experience preferred.
Retail Pharmacist – .5 FTE
Hours: Hours of staffing for the retail pharmacy are Monday – Thursday from 8:00 am – 7:15 pm; Friday from 8:00 am – 6:15 pm; and Saturday from 8:00 am – 12:45 pm. Employees will be working every other or every third Saturday.
Main responsibilities: Maintaining an environment of collaboration and cooperation, ensuring compliance with standards, providing guidance to the pharmacy technicians, and providing positive customer service.
Qualifications include: Registered pharmacist with Wisconsin license or licensure eligible and retail pharmacy experience. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Director, Talent Development
Main Responsibilities: Design and implement talent management strategy that aligns with short and long term business strategy and culture. Identify and evaluate the talent implications of specific business strategies. In collaboration with key leaders, ensure that key competencies are identified and ensure that structure and processes support maintenance of staff competency. Provision of support to clinical leaders to ensure that key clinical competencies are identified and ongoing maintenance of said competencies is achieved. Evaluate competencies for alignment to HealthPartners strategic priorities and other priority focus areas; establishing a plan to update and maintain them for strategic talent management purposes. Design, develop, and deliver leadership development initiatives based on organizational needs, priorities, and values. Design and drive the implementation of succession planning, leadership development, and career development activities in a disciplined, repeatable execution and better integration across the organization.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Education, Business Management/Administration, Human Resources Development, or equivalent. Minimum of seven (7) years of work experience in Talent Management, I/O Psychology, Training & Development, Organization Development or Human Resources Development. Strong business acumen and the ability to align talent management strategies with organizational goals and priorities. Ability to establish credibility as a trusted partner and advisor to enhance organizational results. Ability to engage and influence senior/executive leadership to adopt new ideas and approaches. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across all divisions and organizations in the HealthPartners enterprise. Written and verbal communications, including executive presentation skills. Competence in strategic thinking and consulting. Expertise in adult education and leadership development. Registered Nurse – OB – .8 FTE
Hours: Night shift 11p – 7 a and every third weekend 7p – 7 a
Main responsibilities: The RN is a professional who assesses and provides care for the OB patient during pregnancy, through their labor, their delivery and during postpartum until the patient is discharged. The RN also provides education to the OB patient, family and newborn. Demonstrates good assessment skills, performs NBHS test and assist the physician in circumcisions. The RN will work closely with the physician in providing patient care, communication and education. This person will help maintain the department and assist with tasks related to the unit.
Qualifications: Successful candidates must be a current RN in the State of Wisconsin and CPR certified. Within 6 months of hire, if not already; this employee will have to be certified in STABLE, NRP and ACLS. Prior OB experience required.
Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) – .8FTE
Hours: Variety of Evening/Nights and every third weekend 7p – 7a
Main responsibilities: The Medical Surgical RN, in collaboration with the attending physician and the health care team, supports and cares for patients in all areas of the critical access hospital. Assesses, admits, transfers or discharges patients and completes all necessary documentation. Performs basic patient care responsibilities as ordered by the physician and per standards of nursing care, considering age appropriate needs. Evaluates the patient’s condition and response to treatments, notifying the physician, charge nurse and other care givers as appropriate.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin required. BLS Certification required and ACLS required within 6 months of hire. PALS and ENPC certification required within one year.
Paramedic (Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service) – Per Diem
Hours: Per diem. Flex start time; up to 24 hour shift.
Main responsibilities: The per diem paramedic will supplement the full time paramedic staff when additional paramedic staffing is needed. Per Diem paramedics will respond to calls for emergency medical services (EMS); render ALS and BLS care to those in need of assistance; operate and maintain emergency response vehicles and base station; participate in continuing medical education and provide EMS education and training to others.
Qualifications: NREMT and State of Wisconsin certified paramedic. Healthcare provider CPR certified. Valid driver’s license. ACLS certified. Certified in NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800.
Charge Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Department – .8 FTE
Hours: Evening and Night 8 or 12 hour shifts with every other or every third weekend
Main Responsibilities: Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, be able to work independently in a fast paced setting. Experience in leadership that role models a positive, can do attitude. Demonstrates flexibility and partnership.
Qualifications include: Current WI RN license. Certified in BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC.
