Maternity Care
Our Maternity Staff consists of an Obstetrician/Gynecologist, Dr. Weisberg, and Family Practice Physicians and Nurses that are known for their remarkable labor support, breastfeeding support, and postpartum cares of both mothers and infants. We pride ourselves on one-to-one labor support and offer a large variety of option for laboring mothers such as the following:
- Birthing chair
- Birthing ball
- Walking
- Numerous position changes
- Whirlpool tub
- Massage
- Aromatherapy
- Music therapy
- Variety of pain medication options
Family Care
For you and your family's comfort we provide a family lounge, small kitchenette, and a visitor-friendly atmosphere. For the fathers or support partners we offere a pull-out chair to sleep on in the room. All rooms are equipped for in-room deliveries if needed with a birthing bed, TV, private bathroom and shower, recliner and breathtaking view of our garden.
Prenatal Education
Westfields Hospital offers prenatal classes for you and your support person. The class is a 6-week course taught by perinatal educators with a prenatal breastfeeding class to follow. If you'd like to find out more information regarding our prenatal classes, check out our Health & Wellness Programs.
