Medical Assistant -- .5 FTE
Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant. Minimum of 2 years as a Medical Assistant in a clinic setting. Responsibilties include: room patient, vitals, stock / clean exam rooms, review medication list, escort patients.
RN - Ambulatory Care / Emergency Department -- .6 FTE
Qualifications: Current WI RN license. Certified in BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, or ENPC. Strong IV skills, critical thinker, and able to work independently in a fast paced setting.
Work schedule: Days, with every third weekend backing up the primary ED nurse.
Medical Biller -- Full-time
Monitors claims for missing information. Research unpaid and denied insurance claims to facilitate the processing of claims and receipt of payments from insurance companies. Submission of letters of appeal on denied insurance claims, completing adjustments. Inquire and extract claims, authorization and historical data from the claims system. Ability to deal with stressful and unusual circumstances with resourcefulness, diplomacy and tact.
Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of related experience in hospital/medical billing and insurance follow-up procedures. At least one year of experience with Medicare billing Part A & B. 2+ years data entry experience. Broad understanding of professional fee and hospital billing practices. Knowledge of basic medical terminology desired. Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of online medical billing systems. Able to professionally interact with providers, third party payers, physicians and staff from all departments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work schedule: Monday - Friday / 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Director of Nursing
We have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an RN with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care. The Director of Nursing will work with nursing leaders in Med/Surg, OB, OR and ED. The DON will have overall responsibility for nursing at Westfields Hospital such as planning and development of systems and processes to improve the operating quality, safety and efficiency of the department. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s in Nursing (Master’s degree preferred) and 3 - 5 years of healthcare leadership experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and current RN licensure in state of Wisconsin or eligibility are required.
RN - O.R. -- .8 FTE
Provide exceptional care to our surgical patients during the intra-operative phase & Stage I / PACU. Also care of the GI patient. (procedure/discharge). Requirements include: Wisconsin RN license with at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. ACLS required. PALS Preferred. Schedule: Primarily day/early evening hours. Must be flexible with hours able to work. Commitment for one night of call a week & every 6th weekend.
The Cancer Center of Western Wisconsin is looking for an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant to join our team. This position will work closely with our providers and other medical staff at Osceola Regional Medical Center and St. Croix Falls Regional Medical Center to provide services to oncology patients and their families. This role will also assist as a provider for our cancer survivorship program. Minimum 2-4 years as an NP or PA in a clinic setting.
Evaluate inpatient orders, kinetics dosing, anticoagulation monitoring, review chemo regimens. Must be dependable and patient focused. Must be a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Wisconsin. Hospital experience recommended.
Schedule: Weekend hours 8 a.m. to noon.
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Part-time
We are seeking an exceptional NP or PA to work in our HealthStation Walk-In Clinic, providing minor acute illness exams, including treatments, screenings and vaccinations.
Qualifications include: graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. (Master's required for candidates graduating after 1992.) Current Licensure or Certification as Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of Wisconsin or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Certification Approved or eligible for approval by WI Board of Nursing for prescription writing privileges. Current CPT certification. Must be comfortable working independently, and full-range able to see pediatric adult patients. 1-2 years experience preferred.
Clinic hours of operation: Mon Fri: 8:00 am 7:00 pm, Sat 9:00 am 3/4:00 pm & Sun 9:00 am 12: pm. The HealthStation clinic is located at Family Fresh Market, New Richmond.
Work schedule: 20 hours/week with some weekends.
